In addition to our library of more than 2,000 designs, Tiedemann-Bevs can provide a personalized touch with custom designing. Using multihead and single-head high-speed embroidery machines, our experienced associates are able to construct high-quality designs in a timely fashion. The sewing department at Tiedemann-Bevs provides all types of ready-to-install casket interiors. We will sew on but are not limited to any industry-accepted fabric. However, we prefer using TBI textiles because of their superior quality and the variety available.
We also install interiors for customers who deliver caskets to us. Tiedemann-Bevs has a variety of sewing machines to accomplish a diverse range of sewing and interior needs. Our complete corrugated rental insert and/or rental interiors have become extremely popular during this time of increased cremation and rental caskets.
In terms of Casket Panels and Keepsakes, TBI offers an array of possibilities for customers to choose from. Our Precious Memories catalog can help facilitate your personalization needs. Our combination of customized embroideries and pulled-panel mounting, along with overnight shipments by UPS or Fed-Ex, enables us to quickly process orders, typically within 24 hours.
TBI's combination of interior and panel expertise has made our company a popular choice when preparing show room displays. We sew full-size and miniature interiors and pull panels to fit any of the different funeral home show room displays. TBI is not limited to sewing for our core casket business. Tiedemann-Bevs Industries has been providing quality textiles to the casket industry for 145 years (see History). We offer an extensive variety of industry-specific textiles --- from interior and exterior fabrics to different backings, waddings and mattress materials. Interior fabrics are both woven and knit, from plain weave taffetas to crepes, linens, suede and velvets. Specialty fabrics are available for decorative and accent needs, and heat shirring is another popular choice. Most fabrics are high-quality 100% polyester, but our new line of 100% natural cotton fiber provides an environmentally sensitive option.
Exterior fabrics are a mainstay in the textile industry and the popular slit-to-width embossed Moleskin has been in our line for decades. Other jacquards and rugged poly/cottons complement our line, as well.
In addition, we carry a variety of stocked non-woven backing and wading material, an assortment of flat backings and a variety of lofted materials and mattresses in both standard application pads and absorbent styles.
The warehouse at Tiedemann-Bevs is stocked with a variety of products to help customers with their sewing rooms or for use as an enhancement on caskets. Among the supplies we specialize in: sewing and shirring threads, needles, tools, cleaners, fasteners, glues, scissors, and sewing machines. Enhancements we provide include but are not limited to beading, molded trim, mirror siding, I.D. labels and plates, pin stripping, and decals. We also offer helpful production items such as gasket tape, felt dots and arrows, touch-up bottles and brushes, gimp, and a variety of casket covers. Embroidered/logo garments and upholstered items are a by-product of Tiedemann-Bevs' quality embroidery department. We can source your golf shirts, jackets, towels pullovers, etc. from nationally known manufactures and then custom design a logo or lettering to apply to your garment. We also provide items for golf outings, delivery drivers, office and production personnel, clients and other identification needs. In addition, we can create memory throw pillows for family remembrances and births.
